‘Player 1 … Ball 1 …’

Welcome to the home page of …

Keep Flippin’ …

I am nearly finished restoring a Williams Space Mission. It has taken a while to get to this point but I am extremely happy with it!

SuperRad (barcade) is now open in downtown Raleigh, NC!  Check them out on Facebook and help support local businesses!

It is now OFFICIAL, we are moving to Central Ohio at the end of February 2026! Our house sold real fast! We have had many great times in the Raleigh, NC area over the past 15 years! I will continue my pinball fun in Ostrander, Ohio!

Cheers, Dave S.

The purpose of this site is to display some of the work I have done on different pinball machines to bring them ‘back to life.’ I will apologize ahead of time that a good chunk of the photos were taken with poor lighting and resolution. In some instances, I did not always take pics ‘after’ I completed a ‘reviving.’

My definition of ‘restoration’ is typically to make sure all mechanisms/lights/components/etc. are all working as intended when the machine was new. My version of the restoration process also includes cleaning/polishing/replacing/etc. all the components associated with the playfield, the lower cabinet, and the backbox. This requires patience and lots of time. I do accept requests for repairs to get an ailing machine running again. Although I cannot guarantee you won’t call me again. Here is my reasoning … there are so many electromechanical components in a pinball machine that can have intermittent issues. You may fix one, but it may have been hiding a bigger issue and so on. Since I do this as a hobby, I don’t have a lot of time to take on tons of work. That being said, one of my main goals is to help make someone’s pinball machine as reliable as possible and, in turn, teach the owner some tips & tricks to keep their machines running! Playing an active machine is what it’s all about … right?
